Community Impact

Since the turn of the century La Pine Rodeo has been a local tradition since it was started by families as a community festival as the Frontier Days with horse races, picnics, games and a parade. Now the past 22 years the La Pine Rodeo has become an official Northwest Professional Rodeo Association (NPRA) sanctioned rodeo and has become a non-profit, the La Pine Rodeo depends on the spirit, dedication, hard work and collaboration of over 100 volunteer members to provide our community with an opportunity to experience the true western heritage through the historical sport we call rodeo and to host one of the best rodeos in the Pacific Northwest.

We are proud to be able to showcase top rodeo talent and provide family friendly entertainment to our community and visitors. what we are even more proud of is the fact we are able to help support local non-profit groups in our communities.

Each year the La Pine Rodeo and related events gives back to local charities annually.
